Alvin Music Infinity

Owner, Musician, Music Educator, Recording artist

Alvin Music Infinity was created on March 23, 1998, in Minneapolis, MN.  The colors of the company are black and red.  Black, being the owner’s ethnicity & red, being a reflection of bloodshed from those who paved the way for this company to exist as well as the physical and spiritual freedom I enjoy.

The name of the company basically means past, present and future.  Alvin represents the past.  My grandfather’s name was Alvin Becton Sr. and although I never met him, I feel a bond with him because he was a musician as well.  It also means that I didn’t get where I am now by accident.  That people before me labored so I could enjoy life.  Music is the present, the thing that I love to play and create.  Finally, Infinity is the future.  I want my students, my music to have an indelible impact on the world that will last forever.
